The Canadian Dental Care Plan, or CDCP, is a program from the federal government that provides dental coverage to eligible Canadians with limited income. It’s intended to fill the gap for individuals and families who don’t have private dental benefits. Key highlights of the CDCP include:
- Coverage for families with a household income of less than $90,000 annually.
- Eligibility for children under 18 and seniors, ensuring access to care for all generations.

Co-payment requirements based on your family’s adjusted net income:
No co-payment for incomes under $70,000.
40% co-payment for incomes between $70,000 and $79,999.
60% co-payment for incomes between $80,000 and $89,999.
